6 Pieces of Magical Clothing for your 5e Game

Below are six magical clothing items that are certainly more than meets the eye. These magical items are excerpted from a soon to be released book on all things magic.

Long coat of defence
Wondrous Item, rare

This black leather long coat is rather unremarkable in appearance but provides greater protection than most shields.
While wearing this long coat, you gain a +2 bonus to your armour class.

Boots of the mountain goat
Wondrous Item, uncommon

These rugged leather boots are lined with goatskin and smell as such.
You gain advantage on all climbing checks while wearing these boots.

Waistcoat of many pockets
Wondrous Item,  very rare (requires attunement)

Rogues and wizards favour these brightly coloured waistcoats for the shear amount of gear one can carry.
This waistcoat has 8 pockets, each of which is an extradimensional space. Each pocket contains a 10-inch by 10-inch space which can hold ten pounds. The vest always weights 2 pounds regardless of the weight of its contents.

Tabard of the pious
Wondrous Item, uncommon

Common in many religious orders these tabards bear the holy symbol of the orders principle deity.
While wearing this tabard, you gain advantage on all Religion skill checks.

Belt of the Seas
Wondrous Item, very rare (requires attunement)

The blue tanned leather belt is adorned with the elven symbol for the ocean.
While wearing this belt, you gain the following benefits:
  • ·         You can breathe underwater
  • ·         You can speak with fish and marine mammals
  • ·         You gain darkvision 60 feet

Vest of shielding
Wondrous Item,  rare (requires attunement)

This red fur-lined vest is warm in the winter and always good to have on in a fight.
This vest has 3 charges and regains 1d3 charges at dawn.
While wearing this vest, as an action you can expend a charge and cast the spell shield.

6 Lesser Magical Items for your campaign

Magical items are the bread and butter of any good campaign. Below are six magical items that are fun to give out to your heroes without giving any real advantage.

6 Lesser Magical Items

Blanket of warmth
Wondrous item, common

This blanket always remains warm, but not to warm

The ever filled ink pot
Wondrous item, common

This ink pot never runs dry out of ink, even if it is poured out. The inkwell will refill its self completely within one minute if completely emptied.

The gleaming belt buckle
Wondrous item, common

This large belt buckle never gets dirty

The bottomless tankard
Wondrous item, common

This large metal tankard of beer never needs to be refilled. The tankard refills itself slowly from the bottom up with a medium quality of beer each time the tankard is emptied. It takes 1 minute for the tankard to refill itself completely

Whistle of the dog
Wondrous item, common

This common whistle when used makes the sound of a barking dog.

Rustless sword
Weapon (any sword), common

The metal of this sword can never rust even by magical means

Champions of the Blood War: Oath of the Abyss

Bring the Blood Wars to your table with this new Sacred Oath.

In this new supplement for the Blood Wars, you are introduced to the paladins of the Abyss.
In Oath of the Abyss, you meet paladins who cannot only fight but conjure demons to aid them.
What you find inside
  • The Sacred Oath: Oath of the Abyss
  • 5 New Abyssal spells
I created this class to offer players evil options for character creation. The anti-hero has a well-defined place in fantasy literature, and I believed it was something missing from the current version of Dungeons and Dragons. I played an Anti-paladin and a blackguard back in the day and to me its a must have class in any edition of D&D

You can buy a copy of Oath of the Abyss Here
